Professional DJ services in Toronto range from $1,550 to $3,200 depending on package type and AV requirements. Our DJ-only packages start at $1,550 with venue AV or $2,150 with full AV. DJ + MC packages (most popular) are $2,500 with venue AV or $3,200 with full AV. All packages include professional sound system, dance floor lighting, wireless microphones, pre-event consultation, custom playlist creation, and backup equipment.
DJ-only packages include professional music mixing, custom playlists, sound system, lighting, and pre-event consultation. DJ + MC packages add professional MC services including timeline coordination, announcements, introductions, vendor coordination, and guest engagement. The AV choice determines whether we use the venue's existing sound system (venue AV) or bring our complete professional system (full AV). Most clients choose DJ + MC with full AV for complete peace of mind.
Book 6-12 months in advance for peak wedding season (May-October) and corporate holiday parties (November-December). For off-season events, 3-6 months is typically sufficient. Popular dates (especially Saturdays in summer) book early. We recommend booking as soon as your venue and date are confirmed to secure your preferred DJ.
Yes! We provide seamless entertainment from ceremony through reception. For ceremonies, we provide wireless sound system for processional music, readings, and vows. Then we transition to cocktail hour music and full reception DJ services with dance floor lighting. This ensures consistent quality and eliminates coordination between multiple vendors. Ceremony sound is available as an add-on service.
Absolutely! We encourage song requests and guest interaction. Before your event, we'll create a custom playlist based on your preferences and must-play songs. During the event, our DJs read the crowd and take appropriate requests that match the energy and vibe you want. We'll also note any do-not-play songs you specify to ensure your event reflects your style.
All our DJs carry complete backup systems including spare speakers, mixers, microphones, and laptops. We've performed 1,000+ events and equipment backup has been critical to our 5.0-star rating. In the rare event of technical issues, we switch to backup equipment within minutes with zero interruption to your event. We also arrive early to test all systems before guests arrive.
